Clinical ResearchWichita Clinic's Research Department offers more than 25 years of research experience with a centralized team of registered nurses, principal investigators, and ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) certified staff to assist in studies. The Clinical Research Department has experience in a wide range of specialty areas with specific studies in the departments of Allergy, Rheumatology, Pulmonary Medicine, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, ENT/Otolaryngology, Dermatology, Neurology, Urology, Cardiovascular Disease, primary care and acute care. Wichita Clinic houses a department essential to the FDA’s (Food and Drug Administration) approval of new drugs. The FDA can only approve new drugs after these clinical studies are completed. The Clinical Research Department specializes in Phase II, III, and IV research determining the safety and effectiveness of investigational drugs. Over 25 years of research experience coupled with a controlled, locked drug storage and computerized database gives patients the peace of mind necessary to rely on Wichita Clinic’s Clinical Research Department for drug safety. With six Research Coordinators in the department including one of those based at the Bethel branch in Newton, there are usually between 20 to 30 investigatory studies occurring at one time. These studies are necessary to bring new drugs to the market. Clinical Research Location(s)Murdock -
